Do I need to have a look or body shape to do a boudoir photoshoot?

Absolutely not! A boudoir photography session will paint you in your best light, regardless of body type, style, or appearance. Our goal is to showcase your beauty in the most flattering way possible.

I'm nervous and not sure what to do at a shoot?

I know a boudoir session can be an anxious and nervous event for some people. It's perfectly normal and even the most professional models have those feelings! It’s my job to help direct and pose you, to make you feel comfortable, and to create a happy environment for you. You do not need to worry and overthink you just need to be present.

What should I wear?

We will have a pre-shoot consultation; this is where we will discuss the kind of shoot that you would like and what would be appropriate to wear for it. I have a collection of underwear that can be discussed as needed. I will also send you a pre-shoot guide to make sure you are ready for the day.

Is hair and makeup included?

Some of the included packages come bundled with a hair and make-up artist, but by fault on the entry-level and up this is not included. To allow a more affordable first step for those confident in their own skills.

Will you come to where I live for a shoot?

For now, all shoots will take place in my location, this is due to an understanding of the space and lighting. It allows consistently high results to make sure you get the images you deserve. There is the possibility to shoot at a hired studio, but this would need to be discussed.

Can I bring someone to my shoot?

You can of course bring someone with you if it will make you feel more comfortable. I highly encourage, however, that during the shoot they wait in another room. This is to avoid missed gazes, nervousness, or distraction. We can take a break whenever you want to be able to chat with them.

Do you edit the photographs?

I will edit all images to adjust the lighting and feel of the image to make sure it is the best representation of you possible. I will not edit your body shape, features, or scars. We want to show your natural beauty not hide it. I will remove anything I would call “48-hour marks” e.g., that pesky pimple that appears on the day or clothing lines and labels etc.

Will you post my images publicly online?

Absolutely none of your images or anything from your shoot will be shared without your express prior consent. By default, your shoot will be kept completely private, and I will add the option to allow me to share on the pages Instagram. This is if you are interested in social exposure and growth, but I reiterate it is an opt-in and not a default.

Can you explain how you will preserve my privacy?

Nothing from your shoot will be shared or displayed on any public-facing sights. This is your shoot; it is your body and ultimately these are your images. They will not be used for any promotion or portfolio work without your prior consent, through an opt-in policy.

Is there a cancelation policy?

If you’re unable to attend your session and need to reschedule, we require a minimum of 7 business days' notice, if you cancel later or simply do not show your deposit will not be returned. It takes a lot of effort to arrange and prepare for a shoot, so the costs of the wasted time need to be covered.

Should you need to reschedule the date of your shoot, I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs, but I will not be able to cancel another shoot for yours if it has already been arranged. If we are unable to find a date or time that works for you due to a cancelation 50% of your deposit will be returned.
